The penalty was imposed in his final race for <strong>Sauber<\/strong> at the <strong>Abu Dhabi Grand Prix<\/strong> in <strong>December 2024<\/strong>, following a collision with then-Red Bull driver <strong>Sergio P\u00e9rez<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Penalty From Abu Dhabi, Involving a Future Teammate<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The incident that triggered the sanction is now a notable footnote for Cadillac\u2019s debut, because <strong>P\u00e9rez<\/strong> is Bottas\u2019 new teammate at the American start-up outfit.
